CHANGWON GLOBAL KNOWLEDGE CONFERENCE
 
Changwon is a New City developed in the 1970 in South Korea.  6 Professors were asked to present papers on the future development of the city, my proposal focused on the reuse of old industrial sites with fabric of the city.
 
The lecture focused on a alternative master plan concept that ditched the “Tabula Rasa” mentality and headed towards a adaptive plan.  Precedents were discussed such as: Caixa Forum, Highline and proposals for abandoned sites in Philadelphia.
