Concept Design for a Residential Complex on Jeju Island in South Korea

2013
Appear and Disappear

Concept Design for an residential complex on Jeju Island, South Korea.  The three Villas all have separate unobstructed views of the ocean and the horizon.  A communal amenities building is located at the top end of the site.  The design concept is to integrate the architecture into the land as to create a natural balance between nature and dwelling.  The merging of building and land allows the residences to appear and disappear depending on where the viewer is placed.
